The future of social media is certainly mobile and most of the major sites have come to understand that. Google+, however, has been a little slower on the uptake but finally they are making serious upgrades. Obviously the site has gradually upgraded its mobile apps just like the rest of the competition but the latest upgrade is a big step forward. The most recent upgrades are targeted towards business professionals on the whole but they are certainly a sign of an bigger mobile commitment.
Among the upgrades are an HD version of hangouts, which means you can not only have 15-person conference calls but you can do it with much better video quality. Also included in these new premium features are some more encompassing privacy options. These will basically mean that users can customize who sees their posts. The mobile world is growing rapidly and with it the capabilities that used to be confined to home computers are now becoming more available. Despite months of rumors that claim Google+ was going to be allowed to stagnate, this seems to be an indication that they are still working to build on the site.
